According to 98.7 The Shark, a guy in central Florida took off on a wild police chase after setting fire to a house.

Oswald Pereira started the blaze after an argument with his ex-wife. Once deputies arrived, Pereira fled the scene in a replica of the famous General Lee Dodge Charger. Police pursued him through Marion and Levy counties.

Unlike in the Dukes of Hazzard show, cops were able to catch up with the 44-year-old, who was found with burns over 15 percent of his body. Pereira has been charged with fleeing and eluding law enforcement, assault on an officer and violating a domestic violence protection order.

Thankfully the woman was not hurt and firefighters rescued at least two dogs from inside the home.
