New footage out of Utah may have captured Sasquatch on film. A man named Tanner Hargis captured the footage on March 23rd, 2019 while in his backyard observing nearby Lone Peak, which lies southeast of Salt Lake City, Utah. The mountain reaches an elevation of 11,253 feet and is a popular hiking destination when weather permits. It's one of the taller mountains in the Wasatch Mountain Range.
As Hargis looked through his scope, he observed the bipedal creature ascending the snowy mountain. The conditions suggest that a human would have quite a difficult time on the mountain - leading many to speculate that he captured a Bigfoot Sighting.
Hargis shared his recording with the research group known as the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization. After several emails with the witness, they were able to estimate that the creature was located 8,600 feet above sea level. Hargis said he could see arms which reached down to the creatures knees and estimates it must have been eight feet tall. The research group did visit the site and could find no further evidence. The sighting comes just a few months after another man captured footage of a Bigfoot in the snowy mountains around Provo, Utah. On January 2, 2019, a video was shared on Facebook and Reddit showing a dark haired creature in the distance that got the new year off to an interesting start. The camera man says “I’m just gonna get more footage of the Sasquatch” while filming the the creature who was "just chillin.'" One Reddit user mentioned the existence of a Bigfoot Family that inhabits the area. Others have reported tree structures and broken trees in the Cascade Saddle area - tell tale signs of Bigfoot activity. It seems that Utah is the new Bigfoot hot spot, at least for 2019.
