Sexism in the Workplace

March 4, 2019

My workplace is rolling out some new program and so today we had training for it. Everyone gathered into the training room at 9 am and took a seat. I quickly noticed the ratios and took a head count - there were 10 women and 3 men in the class, for a total of 13. There were two trainers – both women. Looks like sexism in the workplace is real and alive. The thing is – it's against men. Total class of 15 people, and only 20% of them were men. Sure, it might be a small sample size…but that definitely qualifies as a minority population.
