Trump ‘Hoovering Up Adderall’?
A story from Dailywire suggests that President Donald Trump is abusing the prescription drug Adderall - a treatment for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) that is amphetamine based. The drug is a Schedule II controlled substance in the U.S. due to its potential for abuse, though it is commonly prescribed to children.
The accusation was made by GOP strategist and political commentator Rick Wilson on a CNN panel which was debating the government shutdown. Wilson said that Trump spends his mornings "hoovering up rails of Adderall." For the record, Wilson has been vocal in his opposition to the President and his stance on the Wall.
Wilson also attacked Trump supporting GOP candidates by calling them 'bootlickers' and said that the core of the GOP is “white dudes over 55” with Donald Trump 'tramp stamps'. Wilson is the author of the book “Everything Trump Touches Dies" which calls the President the worst ever.
Wilson then said to CNN anchor Don Lemon “No matter how many times Donald Trump tweets, no matter how much he spends his morning ‘executive time’ hoovering up rails of Adderall and rage tweeting, it’s not going to change where Pelosi is.” It sounds to us like a false and intentionally inflammatory accusation, especially from a guy selling a book, but that seems to be the modus operandi of the left lately.
