Elon Musk Tweets Alien Meme

Elon Musk caused a stir online when he tweeted an odd meme yesterday that has conspiracy theorists and UFOlogists wondering what information the SpaceX CEO has privy to. The tweet was posted on his official Twitter account to his 23 million followers and suggested an alien connection to the moon landing. He commented "there are no coincidences" to a picture that says "Neil Armstrong was the first person to land on the moon. 'Neil A' backwards is 'Alien.'"

The meme is a popular one that makes its way around social media, shared by those who believe there is an alien presence on the moon. Perhaps Musk is making fun of conspiracy theorists, but then he also shared another odd tweet that said "Evian, the first bottled water, is naive spelled backwards."

Musk and his private space company have been linked to UFOs before: a SpaceX launch in October 2018 was responsible for a rash of UFO reports in Southern California. Before that, conspiracy theorists suggested that an unidentified flying object caused the dramatic explosion of a Falcon 9 rocket in 2016.

UFO watchers would be fair to argue that Musk might be among a small handful of people on the planet who genuinely knows the truth about the UFO phenomenon given the groundbreaking work done by SpaceX. Maybe its a joke taken to seriously, or maybe Musk is tipping his hand about what he really knows about ETs with the tweet.
