Burger King launches Halloween 'Nightmare King' that can induce nightmares
In a Halloween stunt that is pretty funny, Burger King is introducing a new sandwich which it says is "clinically proven to induce nightmares".
The "Nightmare King" will be available through November 1st at participating locations nationwide.
Burger King isn't our favorite fast food restaurant, but the "spooky sandwich" does sound intriguing: it features a quarter pound of flame-grilled beef, a white meat crispy chicken fillet, melted American cheese, thick-cut bacon, creamy mayonnaise and onions on a glazed green sesame seed bun.
That is a concoction that sounds like it could live up to its nightmare promising name, though 'Nightmare Indigestion' might be more appropriate.
Burger King says it put the burger to the test by working with the Paramount Trials and Florida Sleep & Neuro Diagnostic Services to conduct a sleep study. According to a news release, they conducted “a scientific study over 10 nights with 100 participants who ate the Nightmare King before they went to bed.
If you try the burger, let us know what kind of nightmare you had. We are curious to know.
