People Are Actually Mad That Wonder Woman Has No Armpit Hair
We are fans of hair on a woman, in the right places that is, as evidenced by our article Au Naturel - the Case for Bush. But some body parts are off limits - like the armpits. For us, hairy armpits on a lady is a no go. But some feminists are actually really upset that Wonder Woman is clean shaven in the upcoming Wonder Woman movie. Yes, this is a real thing and has even been dubbed the #Armpitgate Scandal.
They say that the movie is historically inaccurate because an Amazonian Princess would have had armpit hair. Twitter has blown up with some guessing that Gadot’s armpits have been photoshopped to show a sheen, immaculate visage that is unattainable by real women. Many woke, intersectional journalists were also angered by the lack of armpit hair. Refinery29 even said the lack of hair was attempt to appease beauty standards created by men.
In the future, when we look back at the great social injustices, will armpit hair really make the list of important causes? We doubt it. It's funny how the woke mob comes out over the smallest things. For example, there has been a lot of cries for more representation in Hollywood for minorities and women, but quite often to achieve that we need to re-write parts and make them historically inaccurate. Like if we we inaccurately portray white superhero characters as other ethnicities no one says a thing. So do you want "historically accurate" or not feminists?
Wonder Woman has never had armpit hair in the comics or on screen. The new film is also set during World War 1, around the same time women began shaving their pits. Either way, the movie looks like its worth seeing. Here is the official Movie trailer, which we think looks pretty good.

Is armpit hair on Wonder Woman a gross oversight which undermines a woman's rights?
Or another silly cry from the feminist moment?
