According to a local report, a man in Klamath Falls, Oregon has been arrested after claiming that he was assaulted by Sasquatch.
The Klamath 911 police dispatch received a call from Timothy Drennen late Wednesday saying that he was being attacked by a man with an axe. The man seemed to fear for his life, and deputies responded quickly even though Drennen "was threatening, rude, and abusive to 911 dispatchers".
“The caller was not providing a lot of information,” according to Klamath County Deputy District Attorney Cole Chase. Once deputies arrived, Drennen informed them that Sasquatch was the one who attacked him.
The deputy D.A. says he can’t comment on any evidence that may be presented in court, though he added an important observation: “Upon a subsequent investigation, there were no signs that Sasquatch was present.”
“The defendant Mr. Drennen was combative, made some threats, but ultimately was taken into custody without any physical incident,” Chase said. “It doesn’t appear as though there’s any issue of mental health concern here,” Chase added. “This was strictly intoxication.”
Drennen has been charged with misuse of 911 and initiating a false report. If he is able to provide proof of the Sasquatch attack, he may be able to get the charges dropped. We doubt he is going to have much luck, though.
