October 1, 2017

from Alternative Nation:

Frances Bean Cobain has tweeted that the Daily Mail and The Blast’s numbers on her spending were inaccurate.

I'm sorry, but who has the time to spend $200k a month? That's fucking absurd. None of the information that has been reported is accurate.

Below is Daily Mail’s report:

Frances Bean Cobain reportedly earns more than $95,000 a month from her late father’s publicity rights.

The 25-year-old is said to pocket $95,496 a month from the personality rights of her Nirvana frontman dad Kurt Cobain – who took his own life in 1994 at the age of 27 – and she takes home $6,784 in dividends.

According to The Blast (via Daily Mail), Frances – who is said to be worth $11.3 million – earned the amounts between July 2016 and June 2017 and also listed her spending at $206,000 a month.

The figures were recorded in documents in her divorce from Isaiah Silva, who she married in 2014 but filed for divorce from in March 2016.

Frances – who is the daughter of Courtney Love – is also said to have a sizable stake in Nirvana’s music rights.

Cobain has promoted charitable efforts on social media.

Frances Bean Cobain attended the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor fight last month in Las Vegas with her boyfriend, The Ceremonies frontman Matthew R. Cook. This was her most major public appearance yet with Cook, who she has shared photos of herself with on Instagram since around March.
