Interview with Brooke Bailey

Though she has not been writing for us long, Brooke Bailey has already built a cult following of fan boys who email us asking to know more about her. Usually, its along the lines of "Hey... that writer Brooke Bailey must be hot. Does she have a boyfriend?" Obviously there is a subset of our readers who have yet to develop real social skills. But we do appreciate all of our readers, so we collected the most appropriate questions into an interview and asked her to fill out the questionnaire. She was sweet enough to oblige our drooling readers. By the way, yeah...she is smoking.

 

 

Where are you from?

I was born in Tennessee, but moved to Pittsburgh when I was 20. I like it.

 

How old are you?

You should know its not appropriate to ask a lady her age. I am in my 20's. I will tell you that my birthday is March 17th.

 

What's your nationality?

I am a mix of German, Norwegian, Italian, and Ukrainian.

 

What are your measurements?

Forward aren't we? I am 5'-3" and wear a size 6 shoe. Is that good enough?

 

What kind of guys do you like?

My boyfriend? I am attracted to guys who are down to earth and have nice eyes. Guys who are funny. Intelligence. I don't really care about buffness even though I am a personal trainer, just reasonably healthy.

 

What inspires you?

Seeing my clients who I train make dramatic changes in their body and become healthy. I have trained women who work out hard and will never be a single digit clothing size, as well as women who can eat all day and still stay skinny. It's all about health, being the best that you can be. Health comes in different clothing sizes.

 

Do you think BDSC is sexist?

LOL. No. I don't think it's sexiest, it's just not politically correct. There is nothing wrong with that.

 

Whats the last thing you ate?

Honestly, a cheeseburger. But most days I eat a lot of spinach with grilled chicken. Lots of yogurt. I love stuff like trail mix and granola, but I have to watch myself because I gain weight easily. I do try to have protein with every meal.

 

What are your hobbies?

I like to go to concerts. Pittsburgh is a great place for music. We have small and large venues so we get the smaller bands and the mega stars. I like to write and was so excited to get to publish my articles on BDSC. Hmmm...what else? I am kinda crafty and make things for our house.

 

What kind of music do you like?

Well I grew up on a lot of country, but I like the more traditional country like some bluegrass, Johnny Cash. I guess that's my dad's influence on me. Bet you don't hear many girls say that they like bluegrass music. I also listen to a lot of fast stuff like punk and metal when I work out.

 

Whats a typical day like for Brooke Bailey?

I am so not a morning person, but I am working on it so I can function in the real world. I also need to be awake early to plan workouts for who ever I am training that day. Other days I have massage appointments. I also take some online classes, so sometimes I fit that in between appointments. My days tend to be long, with breaks in between. Like I do a couple of training or massage sessions in the morning, then have a few hours for personal stuff, then do it again in the evening when people are off of work and want to train. I try to be home when my boyfriend is though.

 

Why can't we see what you look like?

I try to keep some anonymity on the internet, it can be a weird place. I am not really big into social media but realize it's how people get seen and promote a business so I am working on being more involved. I do have a few pics of me on my Facebook and I did share a photo of myself in one of my articles. I will let you guess which one. I also don't always stay in "contest shape" so I don't want people to think I am always ripped or something. I usually diet down if I have an upcoming photo shoot or a modeling gig, which I don't do a lot of anymore. Ok, I can give you a picture for this interview.

 

Are you really that buff?

Not always LOL. Some pics I am super toned and tanned for the photo shoots, but usually I am a little thicker. My weight varies by as much as 20 pounds.

 

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Married. Hopefully kids. Still working out but focusing on the family side of life.

 

Last question: If you could train any historical figure who would it be?

Geez. That's tough. Let me get back to you on that one.
